2025 Football Tryouts

• Begin the first day of school - August 25, 3:45pm to 5:30pm

• 6th Graders cannot play football

• Please make a copy of all the paperwork in case you need it for something else such as a camp, etc.

• ALL students trying out for sports will need a new current physical, and concussion form turned in by the first day of tryouts.

• Forms can be found on the NW Middle School website under Athletics. 

• Please turn in completed physicals and concussion forms by 8:30 am by the first day of tryouts to the Athletic Director. Forms can be turned in before the first day of tryouts.

• Completed forms can be turned in at Open House in the gym

•  7th and 8th grade students wishing to participate must have a current physical (current for 395 days), a current concussion form filled out in August to turn in on the first day of tryouts and meet eligibility standards (found on NWMS Athletic website). Forms needed can be found on the NWMS Athletic website or picked up from your PE Teacher. 

• There will be a mandatory parent meeting following tryouts to review county, school and team rules.

• All athletes chosen for the team will need to pay a $45 Athletic fee online using the K12 payment system on the NW Middle website or by cash or check at NW Middle or send a waiver to GCS Director of Athletics before the first game to participate. Managers do not pay the fee.
