2025 Tryouts begin
October 6th
3:30 to 5:30pm
Please make a copy of all the paperwork in case you need it for something else such as a camp, etc.
ALL students trying out for sports will need a new current physical and concussion form turned in by the first day of tryouts.
Physicals are current for 365 days
A new concussion form dated after July 31 will be required every year before tryouts.
Please turn in completed physical and concussion forms by 8:30 am to the Athletic Director by the first day of tryouts. Forms can be turned in before the first day of tryouts.
Anyone trying out for a sports team must have a current physical (current for 395 days), a current concussion form (a new concussion form is needed each school year), and meet all eligibility requirements (found on theNW Middle website under Athletics).
Eligibility requirements and necessary forms can be found on the NWMS Athletics page on the school website.
Mandatory Parent meeting TBD after the team is picked.
All athletes who make the team will pay a $45 Athletic fee or send a waiver to the GCS Director of Athletics before the first game to participate. Fees can be paid online using the K12 payment system or cash or check at NW Middle School. This is a once a year fee. If the athlete paid earlier this year, he will not need to pay again.
Managers do not pay the fee.
